DetailsThis beautiful ring dish is handmade out of clay featuring a little house up on a hill with a little heart floating above it.
A little piece of functional art that can sit by your sink ready to hold your rings or on your nightstand to catch your earrings.
Can you believe it all started with a lump of clay? The clay is wedged and hand formed into shape. It is then dried and fired in the kiln for the first time, this is called the bisque firing. The dish is then painted with various glazes and fired for the second time (at 2205 degrees!). I love opening the kiln after the glaze firing, it is like Christmas every time! -
